LOOKISM is a project based on United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) number 3: Good Health and Well-being. Out of all topics, we chose 'Korean Beauty Standards and Plastic Surgery' because of the urgency and its huge impact on young teenagers' mental health. With this, we hope that the readers would realize the dangers of society and the beauty of self-love.
WHAT IS PIA?
Oddly, our mascot was originally inspired from a special pastry from Yogyakarta called bakpia, brought by one of our members on our first meeting as a group. Add a heart on top of its head, and voilà!#BehindTheScenes
